3. Booking and Quote
To avail our services, clients must request a free, no-obligation quote. Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
3.1 Validity
All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
3.2 Changes to Bookings
Clients may request changes to their bookings up to 48 hours before the scheduled clearance date. Additional charges may apply for last-minute changes.
4. Payment Terms
Payments are to be made as per the terms outlined in your service agreement. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and cash.
4.1 Deposit
A deposit of 20% of the total service cost is required at the time of booking.
4.2 Final Payment
The remaining balance must be settled upon completion of the service.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Clients may cancel their booking as per our cancellation policy. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days.
5.1 Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled date will incur no penalty. Cancellations made within 7 days may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
5.2 Refunds
Refunds are only applicable for services not rendered due to our fault. Any deposit paid will be refunded minus any incurred costs.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure that the property is accessible on the scheduled date and that utilities are available. It is the client's responsibility to secure any valuables not intended for clearance.
6.1 Access to Property
Clients must provide unobstructed access to the property or areas to be cleared.
6.2 Hazardous Materials
Clients must inform us of any hazardous materials present. We do not handle or dispose of hazardous substances.
7. Liability
House Clearance Charlton operates with a high standard of care. However, we are not liable for any damage to property unless caused by our negligence.
7.1 Insurance
We carry insurance to cover accidental damage during the clearance process.
7.2 Damages
Any claims for damages must be submitted within 48 hours of service completion.
